About the Author
Thomas A. Hubbard, of Yankee Springs, Michigan, enlisted in the 13th Michigan Infantry Company B on October 2, 1861 at Yankee Springs. He was mustered into service as an 18-year old Private on January 17, 1862. Hubbard was wounded in action on September 19, 1863 at Chickamauga, Georgia. On January 18, 1864, he re-enlisted in the service at Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was promoted to Corporal on April 30 and then to Sergeant on June 1, 1865. Thomas A. Hubbard was discharged from service on July 25 at Louisville, Kentucky.Documents for this Author:
