About the Author
At the age of 21, Jasper E. Hall enlisted as a Private in the 1st Michigan Infantry Company B on April 29, 1861 at Jackson, Michigan. He was mustered into service on May 1 and was discharged on August 7 in Detroit, Michigan. On August 13, 1862 at Muskegon, Michigan, Hall enlisted in the 26th Michigan Infantry Company C. He was transferred into the 22nd Infantry Veteran Reserve Corps Company K on September 7, 1864. Jasper E. Hall was discharged from service on August 4, 1865 at Camp Dennison, Ohio for disability.Documents for this Author:
