About the Author
Cornelius Engles, of Otsego, Michigan, enlisted in the 1st Michigan Engineers Company L on January 1, 1863. He enlisted at the age of 27 as a Sergeant and was mustered into service on January 16. In Nashville, Tennessee, he was discharged from service on September 22, 1865. Cornelius Engles died on March 12, 1900 in Otsego, Michigan.Documents for this Author:
