About the Author
Addison T. Drake, of Sturgis, Michigan, enlisted in the 11th Michigan Infantry Field and Staff on August 24, 1861 at White Pigeon, Michigan. He was mustered into service as a 1st Lieutenant that same day. On September 15, 1862, Drake was promoted to Quartermaster of the 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division, 14th Army Corps. He was transferred from Field and Staff to Company K for promotion to Captain on June 17, 1864. Addison T. Drake was discharged from service on September 30 at Sturgis, Michigan.Documents for this Author:
