About the Author
Eber M. Coombs enlisted as a Private in the 11th Michigan Infantry Company D on August 19, 1861 at Bronson, Michigan. He was mustered into service at the age of 20 on August 24. Eber M. Coombs died from disease on June 5, 1863 at Nashville, Tennessee. He is buried at the National Cemetery in Nashville.Documents for this Author:
