About the Author
James Campbell, of Orangeville, Michigan, enlisted as a Corporal in the 7th Michigan Cavalry Company F on January 9, 1863. He was mustered into service on January 23 at the age of 44. On March 1, Campbell was promoted to Sergeant. He was listed as missing on July 8 at Boonsboro, Maryland. Campbell was discharged on June 2, 1865 at Detroit, Michigan. James Campbell died on November 21, 1888 and is buried at Hastings, Michigan.Documents for this Author:
