About the Author
John W. Bradner, of Bingham, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 4th Michigan Cavalry Company B on July 28, 1862 at Duplain, Michigan. He was mustered into service on August 28 at the age of 26 and was later promoted to 1st Sergeant. On March 1, 1865, Bradner was promoted to Sergeant. John W. Bradner was discharged on July 1 at Nashville, Tennessee. He resided in St. Johns, Michigan after the war.Documents for this Author:
