About the Author
At the age of 18, George Bracy enlisted as a Private in the 3rd Michigan Infantry on February 8, 1864 at Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was mustered into service that same day. On June 10, Bracy was transferred from the 3rd Michigan Infantry to the 5th Michigan Infantry. George Bracy was discharged from service on June 7, 1865 at Fairfax Seminary Hospital, Virginia.Documents for this Author:
