About the Author
Charles D. Bibbins, of Edwardsburg, Michigan, enlisted in the 1st Michigan Sharpshooters Company E as a Private on April 16, 1863. He was mustered into service on April 17 at the age of 18. On June 12, 1864, Bibbins was taken prisoner at Cold Harbor, Virginia. Charles D. Bibbins was discharged from service on June 19, 1865 at Camp Chase, Ohio.Documents for this Author:
