About the Author
Henry Bennett, of Galien, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 9th Michigan Infantry on August 12, 1861 at Niles, Michigan. He was mustered into Company B at the age of 23 on October 15. On December 7, 1863, Bennett re-enlisted in the 9th Michigan Infantry at Chattanooga, Tennessee. Henry Bennett was discharged from service on September 15, 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.Documents for this Author:
