George H. Barker, of Wyoming, Michigan, enlisted at 25 years old as a Sergeant in the 1st Michigan Engineers Company C on September 9, 1861 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was mustered into service on October 29. George H. Barker died of disease on May 8, 1862 in Covington, Kentucky.Documents for this Author:
