Regiment: 2nd Wisconsin Infantry Battles Mentioned: Historical Figures: Camp Randel Arlington Hights Jul 4= 1861 I have not had time or opportunity to mail this letter we came to this place last as night about 10 oclock Slept on the ground without tents the teams not being able to reach here so we had to go without supper we expect to advance on harpers ferry or Fairfax Court house tomorrow.
