Dear brother and sister
it has been a long time since
I have written as many as 2
leters to but have received
no answer I wrote to you
some time before Dear mother
died nety tells me you did
not get it I was sory for
that I wanted you to see her
befor she died she died with
a firm trust in god see

to long for the time to come
we miss her very much
I will send you a lock
of hair cant you and Net
come out this fall my
children have grown some
since you some then Jesse is
as tall as his father Rosa is
my hight and Olive is taller
John is you will get your
family group picture

and lives 17 miles from
here

thare is not mutch sickness
around here now thare has
been a case of small pox

or James in quite a while
