Dear Cousin
Will [chewed away] for not writing
before. Ever since
[chewed away] I have expected
to go home. But last Saturday came and I was then disap
ointed for the third time. my things are all backed up
to go but the farmers are all busy and will be for sometime
but I shall try very hard to go home this week for all of
my mail goes there now.
Well Cos. why dont Cousin [ ? ]
write to me. I hope that she is not mad because I did not
go out to see her But I did not have a chance to go out
there and they would not let me have a rig less than
two dollards and just then I could not spar that for
Harris I knew that things were cheeper there in Coldwater
than they were to Hillsdale and I wanted to go where
I could do the best and the fare was only 70 cents and
I thought that it would pay to go there and I could
[ ? ] stay for if I did I should been obliged to pay 4 dollars
to take me to Imlay. How is Aunt Cheery? better I hope
and has Holl come hoome yet? If so how is he?
tell him that I say that I want you both to come out
and see me. and be sure to get your Photographs
taken Cos I am going to get my pictures for you and
