Burnside In Camp Near Knoxville east tenn March the 19 1864 saturday fore noon wall Sina I set down to pen these few lines to you to let you know I am in tip top helth and hope these few lines will find you the same Sina I am goin to see Dany this After noon as in the morn morning he is a good wais from her as much as 3 miles from her they are a crost the river and I cant go to see them without a pass to cross the Brig but I staid with them one knite any how and am a gain to go a gain Sina tell Clark to go a fishing one knite for me this spring and next spring I will be there myself for this ware cant last any longar for the 9 Mich Cavlery is her yet if there ant onley a few of them left Sina the old 9 Armey core starts for mich yesterday they are gain with burnside our magor said we was a gain in corse of too or 3 weeks so in a short time we will know Sina I cant git a furlow from her it is to far you fill thrall had ben home I sent one letter by him to father he told me he would go and see all of my folks for me Sina if he comes back before you her from me A gain give him your letters to bring to me for he is a fine man Sina he is the one that took care of me when I was sick her the first time we come her he took Good care of me Sina he usto Go and by milk for me every day I cant for git him tell G. W.
