April 30th 1 Dear Father I wrote you yesterd in the letter $15.00 I send I would I had left at another time if that went right, but I have sent it this morning with the Captain & several others which through safe you will find it J. C. Trin in Marshall. it is now about twelve ocl night the cavalry is all ordered out but on guard Duty to night I will not hav unless we are relieved & for fear I might sent that money & had not wrote bout it I thought I would a few lines you know where it was if I did not k alive. Old Forrest (Rebel) is but a short t & the boys are going out to give perhapps I wont have to go. I hope relieve the guards for I want to be evry time I never missed yet was any game. this is all give my best wishes to all. & excuse mistakes for written in a hurrey write as soon as it my money.
