He left on account of the abuse he received from Baker. he was glad to get back.    I hear nothing from Grand Rapids since that letter of Mothers. I thought Louise might at least acknowledge the receipt of that Photograph, but likely she is busy. A soldier of the 40th N.Y. through Will McNiel got [  ?  ] Blakesly address and is now and has been for some time cor= responding regularly with her she sent him her Photograph lately Nettie does not even know his true name while he through Will knows all about her.
