I thought I would write & send them to you & let you know what became of him. He was taken Prisner at Trivillian Station. I saw him a few minnets before he was taken.

I Velma E Gunning cherishes this Book. It is over 100 years old. And I [ ? ] [ ? ] my 86th Birthday. I was born on May tenth 1907. My husband’s Father (John W. Gunning) severed in the Civil War also.
