Corinth Sept 22nd 1862 Dear Wife I have seated myself to write a few lines to you for I think it strange that I have not heard from you since I left home John Swan received a letter from Milan but he did not write a word about you. We are all quite well but Isiah Hant he has got the dysentery quite bad he is agoing to the Hospital to night for we think it is best for him for we cant help him in camp.
