William A. Moseley, of Branch County, Michigan, enlisted in the 1st Michigan Light Artillery Batty D on September 14, 1861 at Union City, Michigan. He was mustered into service as an 18-year old Private on September 17. William A. Moseley was discharged from service on September 17, 1864.
