Regiment: 2nd Michigan Cavalry Battles Mentioned: Historical Figures: Camp Near Waterloo Ala. January 27” 1865. I certify on honor that on the 30th day of November 1864 at Franklin Tenn the stores enumerated below were lost under the following circumstances The Regt. To which my company belons was directed to hold a certain positions, were afterward ordered to charges under the fire of the enemy in so doing one private and one non=commissioned officer were severely wounded and two horses killed The arms accoutuments and Horse Equipments below mentioned were abandoned as we were rep[  ?  ] and thy could not be recovered The following is a list of stores so lost (2)Cav. Sinks (2)Halters and Straps                           (2)Cav. Sabre (2)Surcingle                                         (2)Saber Belts and Plates (2)Horse Brushes M.H. Creager 2Lt. Comdg Co. “F” 2d Mich Cavy The Undersigned being duly sworn disposes and says that he is cognitant of the facts as above set forth and that they are correct to the best of his knowledge and belief T[   ?   ] to Chaplin Corporal                 Co.
