To all Whom it may Concern:
Know Ye, that Francis Raymond Jr a
Company of Captain Sergeant of
Company( ) 24th Regiment of Michigan
VOLUNTEERS who was enrolled on the 24th day of July
one thousand eight hundred and sixty two to serve three years or
during the war, is hereby DISCHARGED from the service of the United states,
this 21st day of April, 1864, at near Culpeper
[       ?       ] Va. By reason of acceptance of commission in 1st Mich Vols Infantry
(No objection to this being re-enlisted is now to exist.*)
Said Francis Raymond was born in Detroit
in the State of Michigan, is 19 years of age.
5 feet = inches high, Light complexion, black eyes,
black hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a bookkeeper
