Regiment: 9th Michigan Cavalry Battles Mentioned: Historical Figures: In Camp near Marysville east tenn febuary the 8 1864 Monday fornoon Wall Sina I set myself down to write these few lines to you to let you know of my helth which is good but in mind it is poor my hart is full as it can be I cant hardly rite for the tears stand in my eyes so I cant see to rite the trobele I see is bitter to think of the news I her from home about you Sina the way you are caring on goin to the show to Coldwater and the young men huging you and ther arms round your wast walking the streets Sina how do you think I feel but all rite if you git the start of me you are the best fellow for there is lots of girls her I can git all I want and freeman patch making his brags he went throu the woods with you and one nite and got all he wanted for 50 cts that is cheep bully [  ?  ] him Sina this ant all I can her from you Sina folks rite to me our folks never said a word to me a bout these things but them that was no relation rote and told me Mantson [  ?  ] so is he can prove you walked the streets with that young man arm round you lafing and hapy and [  ?  ] to him and went in to show with him if this is the way to do all rite but I dont see it on my plate but never mind [  ?  ] likely I ever shall come home a gain for the rebs are slaying our men off like sheep and I shall be one of them probley then all will be rite Sina God knoes I dont want to live any longer I am ready now to dy at any time this may be the last time you ever will her from me in the world but I die in the defend of my country thank God for this so go a way trouble rair up back up do the best you can hal Sina do the same take care of the bee for he will sting and if he stings he will leave his stinger in to long so watch him while he sings and all will be rite and dont mind a poor low forgoton soldier who is 2000 milds from home his home which he loved so much but now he dont give a dam for it he is sworn in his [  ?  ] mind to dy a soldier so cheer up all let the wide world wag as it will I be gay and hapy still free and easy drunk or sober hoo wood give a sent so I will close by saying good by Sina o yes Martin burleson is her he got letters from you I see them but dont care I am in old tennessee to live or dy in thy land so git out trouble A H Wiser is my name
