Mackay Chief Q M D C I beg leave to submit the following for your consideration. I have in my possession (20) Twenty (6) six mule wagons not movable, having taken the animals from them to fill up other trains, and unless I can get the number of mules necessary to move them I shall be compeled to leave all, or part, of them (according to the number of muels received) at the Rail Road Bridge or such place as you may designate. I would respectfully ask for (120) One hundred and twenty animals. my estimate made nearly a month ago was for (60) Sixty mules and (2) two Horses I am Very Respectfully Your Obdt Servt Albert C. Pond Lieut and A A Q M Ammunition Supply Train DC Pond. A.C. AAQM ordnance supply Train Dept Cumbd Aug 27 1864 P.         I.M. No 1804 States he has (20) twenty (6) six mule wagons which cannot be moved by reason of the animals having been taken to fill other trains.
