Dear Cousin
I received your
kind letter and was glad to hear
from you I am well at present and hope
that these few lines may find you the same
I am at Brownsvill Ark and I dont think
that we shall stay heare long I have been
to the woods a cuting logs to build a barn
they say that we are a going to Caro tell
alfred Albert that I sent him 1 one rebs
