C., March 9^th 1867 Dear Mrs. Oliver; With a very bad pen at the General’s table I take great pleasure in inviting you & the General to spend this evening with us to meet a party of only twenty, who will be treated to some delightful music vocal & instrumental. Come at 7 ½ and about 9. I will give you some oysters & a cup of coffee or chocolate. It has been a long time since I saw either you or Genl Oliver.
