Asman is gain= ing again and the Surgeon tells me he can go home with me if I will wait a day or two. he expects an order to transfer him to Montpelier and he will be furloughed from there. You can look for us Wednesdays, but need not be disappointed if we should not come. I got here at three o’clock. saw you at the window when I passed. Shall write to Middlesex to night.
