i am well at preasant
we have been marching for
3 days we are now in
merland about 50 miles
from washington Gen
Lee had his headquarters
at abanah 9 miles from
from fredrick city the
rebals was in fredrick
last weak but we
have drove them out
they was fighting al
day yesterday & thismorning
Ed Call was taken prisner
and perolled and now
he has gone to Anapolis
i recieved your letter
last friday you hadant
better come down here
