Monday Fredrick Sep 15th 62 Dear brother i take this opertunity of writing a few lines to you to let you know that i am well at preasant we have been marching for 3 days we are now in merland about 50 miles from washington Gen Lee had his headquarters at abanah 9 miles from from fredrick city the rebals was in fredrick last weak but we have drove them out they was fighting al day yesterday & thismorning Ed Call was taken prisner and perolled and now he has gone to Anapolis i recieved your letter last friday you hadant better come down here un less you are forst to for it hant so nice as it seams tell Miss Elizabeth Miller to send her Adress and the i will wright to her the reason why i dont get your letters you dont direct them right Direct like this Mr Chancy Bunyea Co K Sixteenth Regt Mich Infantry Washington DC No more at preasant my respects to all C J Bunyea H Bedell writer my respects to all H Bedell
