I have the honor to enclose here
with a Commission as Second Lieutenant
by the Governor of the State of Michigan;
and a certificate of the Assistant Commis-
sary of Musters of the First Cavalry Division
to the effect that I can be Musterd into the
Service when discharged, and I respectfully
ask to be discharged the service as per
said certificate to
