Know ye, That Marshall Boyce a Private of Captain T H Redfield Company, (L,) 1st Regiment of Mich Cavalry VOLUNTEERS, who was enrolled on the 16 day of Feb one thousand eight hundred and 65 to serve one year or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States this fifth day of Dec, 1865, at Fort Savannah Kansas by reason of [          ?          ] Kansas & Territory (No objection to his being re=enlsted is know to exist.*) Nov 13” 1865 Said Marshall Boyce was born in Oakland Co in the State of Michigan, is 20 years of age, 5 feet 7/2 inches high, Dark complexion, Black eyes, Brown hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a farmer
