About the Author
Alvan T. Lamphere, of Coldwater, Michigan, enlisted in the 1st Michigan Light Artillery Battery G as a 1st Lieutenant on October 3, 1861. He was mustered into service at the age of 26 on January 17, 1862. Alvan T. Lamphere resigned from service on June 5. He was buried at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan.Documents for this Author:
