About the Author
Howard J. Huntington, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, enlisted as a Corporal in the 6th Wisconsin Infantry Company A on May 10, 1861. He was mustered into service that same day and later promoted to Sergeant. His other promotions included: Sergeant Major, July 28, 1862; 2nd Lieutenant, March 28, 1863; and, 1st Lieutenant, June 27, 1864. Huntington was listed as being wounded at Petersburg, Virginia, however the date is unknown. Howard J. Huntington’s method and date of discharge is also unknown.Documents for this Author:
