Residing in Racine, Wisconsin, John H. Anderson enlisted in the 2nd Wisconsin Infantry Company F as a Private on April 23, 1861. He was mustered into service that same day. On July 21, Anderson was wounded and taken prisoner at Bull Run, Pennsylvania. John H. Anderson was discharged from service on May 21, 1862.Documents for this Author:
